Another type of an Item which shoul be dressed is the Attachment.   These are used to create nice looking silhouette ar add a detail to an existing clothing item which could not by captured by the base geometrywith blendShapes. Such as belts, bags pinned to the belt, different types of laces, bracelets, pockets etc.

We have two types af an Attachment

  • Preset attachment (geometry attached to the "Clothing Preset")
  • Armor attachment (geometry attached to the single "Clothing Item")

 

Attachments are created the same way as clothing items see Game Editor pipeline

The only difference is that they have its own Tab in WH_Clothing Elemen Editor called "Preset attachments" and "Armor attachments"
