Downloading from Nexus Mods with Vortex

In order for Vortex to handle the “Download with Manager” links, it needs to be configured correctly. Fortunately, Vortex provides two ways to quickly set this option up.

The first is by using the “Let’s get you set up” dashlet that appears in the “Dashboard” section by default.

If you have already dismissed this dashlet, you can also change this option in the settings. It can be found in by navigating to “Settings” in the left menu, then open the “Download” tab and use the toggle on this page to turn Vortex’s ability to handle the downloads on or off.

Now, any time you click the "Download with Manager" button on the Nexus Mods website, the mod will be downloaded directly into Vortex for easy installation.

Note: You need to be logged in to your Nexus Mods account in Vortex to use this feature.
