- Copy the text to a new text file
- Create two copies of the file -- Installer and Un-Installer
- Make Installer version by commenting out the UNINSTALL hex code segments
- Make Un-Installer version by commenting out the INSTALL hex code segments

MOD_NAME=Upgradable Aliens with Regeneration and Damage Reduction AUTHOR=amineri DESCRIPTION=This mod allows alien stats to be upgraded twice during the course of the campaign. This removes alien stat adjustments for Easy, Normal, and Classic difficulties (Classic is described as 'Hard' in the game files) The stats defined in the "Characters" settings apply to Easy, Normal and Classic. Impossible difficulty still has its own stat adjustments. BalanceMods_Easy and BalanceMods_Normal are used to give aliens stat upgrades during the campaign. The iCritHit field is used to determine how many days must pass before the upgrade is applied. Each upgrade is check and applied separately. Once both day-counts have passed, both upgrades will cumulatively be applied. Regeneration and Damage Reduction are applied via the BalanceMods_Classic settings: iDamage -- the unit's starting Damage Reduction (this much damage will be subtracted each time the alien takes damage) iAim -- the unit's starting Regeneration (the unit will heal this much health at the start of every turn) iDefense -- amount of Damage Reduction the unit gains during the first upgrade (after BalanceMods_Easy.iCritHit days have passed) iHP -- amount of Damage Reduction the unit gains during the second upgrade (after BalanceMods_Normal.iCritHit days have passed) iMobility -- amount of Regeneration the unit gains during the first upgrade (after BalanceMods_Easy.iCritHit days have passed) iWill -- amount of Regeneration the unit gains during the second upgrade (after BalanceMOds_Normal.iCritHit days have passed) iCritHit -- number of days until the alien gets a +1 HP boost This mod is compatible with the Tank-specific damage reduction. If a unit has Damage Reduction from both sources then they add together. Negative values for Damage Reduction are possible. Negative Damage Reduction will cause the unit to take more damage than normal. A negative value for Regeneration will be treated the same as 0 (no regeneration).
